Steve served as a church pastor and leader in nonprofits before coming to Westmont. He has a master's in management from Columbia University, a doctorate from SFTS and a master's in divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary. Steve received his bachelor's degree from SPU in religion and psychology. Steve and his wife, Cindy, have four sons. Their oldest son, Grant '05, and his wife, Julia '07, are Westmont alums and live in Santa Barbara.

Lorinda graduated from Westmont in '81, majoring in Economics and Business. In 2013, she began working at the college, joining The Alumni and Parent Relations Office. Previous to Westmont, Lorinda has worked with a large number of charity and non-profit organizations. She loves to tell people how unique and special Westmont is, and has been passionate about connecting people to the college long before she was working here. Now, working in the Office of Gift Planning, she's especially grateful to help alumni and friends of the college ensure Westmont's future impact and financial stability through deferred gifts. Lorinda and her husband Ed '81 have two daughters and a son who graduated from Westmont in 2014.
